HOW DO WE FABRICATE AND INSTALL MATT LAUNDERS?
We have a comprehensive and integrated approach to fabricating and installing Matt Launders, which involves the following:
STEEL WORK
Use our in-house steel profiling facility to cut and shape the steel plates according to the specifications of the launder design.
Assemble the steel plates into sections and weld them together using high-quality welding techniques.
Sandblast and undercoat the steel sections to protect them from corrosion and abrasion.
Package the launder sections for shipment to the site.
PRECAST
Design and manufacture custom-made molds for each section of the launder.
Cast the refractory material into the molds using our advanced casting equipment.
Cure the casted sections in our in-house kiln to ensure optimal properties of the refractory material.
Package the precast modules for shipment to the site.
LAUNDER INSTALLATION
Assemble the launder sections on site and rig them up to the furnace using our experienced and skilled rigging team.
Position the launders at the correct angle to ensure optimal flow of molten metal.
Rig the precast modules into the launder sections using our specialized equipment.
Install the modules without needing mortar in between joints, which reduces installation time and improves thermal efficiency.
